ഇന്ത്യ- മാലിദ്വീപ് ബന്ധത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ഇപ്പോള്‍ സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയയില്‍ തകൃതിയായി നടക്കുന്ന ഒരു പ്രചാരണത്തിന്‍റെ വസ്‌തുത എന്താണ് എന്ന് നോക്കാം.

മാലിദ്വീപിലെ 28 ദ്വീപുകളിൽ ഇന്ത്യയും മാലിദ്വീപും സംയുക്തമായി ജല-മലിനജല പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനെയാണ് തെറ്റായ തരത്തില്‍ വിവിധ ട്വിറ്റര്‍ ഹാന്‍ഡിലുകള്‍ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. മാലിദ്വീപ്-ഇന്ത്യ വികസന സഹകരണത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായായിരുന്നു ഈ പദ്ധതി. ഇതിനെ കുറിച്ച് മാലി നിര്‍മാണ, അടിസ്ഥാനസൗകര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം വിശദമായി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നതാണ്. ഇന്ത്യ-മാലിദ്വീപ് ഉഭയകക്ഷി ബന്ധത്തിന്‍റെ കരുത്ത് ഈ പദ്ധതി അടിവരയിടുന്നതായും ട്വീറ്റിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
